The New Life Horsemanship Academy is an online journey into Equine Assisted Discipleship. It is designed to help horse owners experience the heart of the Good Shepherd in a powerful way.

What is Found 101?
Found 101 was originally called Foundations 101 ~ but here’s the Truth. If you are in Christ, you have been FOUND! You might be seeking clarity, or a deeper walk, in Him, but you are not lost. Jesus is the best Rescuer ever. He has not lost one. John 10:28.
What on earth does this mean? Or, what does this mean, on earth? Horses are my secret love language with God, meaning, I am more aware of Him, His perfect presence, provision and peace as a result of my horses. They are like my sheep. I am able to trust the heart of my Good Shepherd as a result of my heart for my horses.
Found 101 is a 7 module introduction to the theology and horsemanship combination I call Equine Assisted Discipleship. I have built a growing community called The Virtual Roundpen. Inside the Virtual Round Pen you will find like minded believers who love horses, LIVE events, Q&A calls, original music by me, giveaways, challenges and more. It will change the way you see Life!
How can horses help people experience God’s presence?
Horses need a source of safety in every moment ~ or they become anxious and reactive.
We are no different.
We were created to live from the Source of Life ~ Jesus. In each moment. In each heartbeat.
When we lose awareness of that Source, we can feel anxious and disconnected.
Horses become a living picture of this truth ~ not as a concept, but relationship with someone you can see and feel.
New Life Horsemanship is a way of living, moving, and relating, where the human living from God’s Abundant Life, becomes the source of safety and the horse responds from trust, not fear.
In that proces, something deeper is revealed in the human
A deeper awareness of God’s presence
A shift from fear to attunement in Him
A new way of seeing your horse and yourself
A lived experience of trust and safety
A powerful way of healing heart wounds
I call this Relational Fluency. As I become more attuned (aware of and connected to) God’s omnipresence, I no longer need my horse to behave a certain way in order to maintain my affection. I am able to receive God’s Love in an experiential way (I feel His Love in my soul) and I live FROM that Love, no matter how my horse behaves.
The strength and quality of my relationship with Jesus is based upon Him. Not me.
The strength and quality of my relationship with my horse is based upon me. Not my horse.
This perspective will change the way you see Life and your horse. This will also change the way your horse see you.
